Message I just read this on a Australian guys Silvia page. This was an idea he had to eliminate turbo lag on his car. Dont know if its a good idea or not.

"Future-antilag turbo?
That delay from standing start is really bugging me. I know the turbo takes a moment to spool, but the clutch causes the motor to bog down if I let it out a fraction too soon. How can I fix it?. I am thinking of an idea to connect 2 air horn pumps to a pressure bottle under the passenger seat. The pumps give 100psi in short bursts. The bottle needs to hold 12 litres air. Basically, on throttle, a valve will open and let some of the air bottle pressure into the manufold (about 4psi). This is timed for first 1/2 sec untill the turbo is online. As the motor would run lean, a circuit will "trick" the air flow meter into believing it is seeing another 4psi flow, thus making the computer inject more fuel. The end result should be no lag! Heaven."
