Message Many things affect the numbers, if you just change the pipes and intercoolers on the same car, you will see the gains.
The port work and larger valves can go backwards easy, I have seen a lot of head work go backwards, larger valves can also go backwards if you do not properly open up the port and combustion chamber to allow the larger valves to flow.
If the climate is very different when dyno testing, the results can also change drastically. Your elevation will make the results different than a dyno at a lower elevation. Looking at uncorrected numbers will show what the cars really made in the tested location and climate.
Overall test results from tuning have shown that the larger wheels in the 700 turbos work better than the smaller ones in the same 5 bolt housings if the cars have breather mods.
