Message	It makes a huge mess as it drips down on the side of the block and every where else when you undo it. I wear rubber gloves when changing the filter on the Z so it's a non-issue. Plus, because it is vertical, I can fill the new filter up with oil so the oil pump doesn't have to when you first start the car after changing the filter.
