Don't rely on the locals, and if you do, go see Jurie at MNR, otherwise English Racing in Southern Washington, my honest opinion. Get your meth, just don't tune on it. Failsafe is useless and unneeded then, and from MANY readings i've done, the failsafe has failed (seriously, wtf), so I'd just use it for extra fun, and not the always fun.
