Message Level of enforcement also differs from city to city. My buddy has had to get an attorney for speeding. According to him, his attorney mentioned something about how you can "technically" speed within 9 mph of the posted speed limit and any resulting tickets won't stick if you fight them in court. You can also ask to see the radar gun used if they write you a ticket. Take a picture of the bar code on the gun. This is where my memory escapes me, but if the radar gun wasn't calibrated within 24 hrs of your ticket, it won't hold up if you contest it in court. How you find out when it was calibrated - I don't know.

That said, cops around here profile like no other! I've been pulled over LITERALLY right in front of my house 3 times in my Prelude! Once for my tail lights being "too pink - it must be red" (female cop). No ticket at least.

I could go on and on, another time I contested a BS ticket for not coming to a COMPLETE stop at a stop sign. My road is a dead end road, it was 1 a.m. (Just got off work at the time) and nobody around. I came to a stop but officer didn't think it was a COMPLETE stop (he couldn't even see me from where he was waiting due to a tree, nor I him). I contested it in court and the judge let the ticket remain. Her reason: because I didn't specifically state in court that I did, in fact, come to a complete stop. Ummm, I thought that's why I took work off to come contest the ticket in the first place! So corrupt, SMFH...

Btw, my F250 Powerstroke is now my dd until I get my Z done. 1 tail light/turn signal is out, all windows are tinted, no muffler/loud ass exhaust, and my driving habits remain the same. NEVER been pulled over in it!
