Message Driving with no License=Car impounded :(

was born out of the country and moved here when I was 4, so I was not able to get my license until this year :)

Used to drive a BMW 325i for 3 years and was never stopped since I always followed the laws on the road.

Finally decided to buy a TT Z and got pulled over the first 3 days of owning it!!!

I was on a light , CA motorcycle cop saw me and did a Illegal U turn to get behind me. I was cool thinking He has no reason to pull me over car is stock. Nope, once the light hits green I go and hear the siren go off (im thinking "shit" lol)

Officer asked me "is this your Z" (in my head I was like "oh wow they actually know their cars, I was targeted)
He tells me I have smoke coming out my exhaust , I reply "i just smogged it", he says "its not smog"..I reply "its kind of cold morning", He then says "its not condensation either"...I then caught on that there was nothing wrong with my car he just knew about Z's and had enough reason to pull me over thinking I was a street racer or something.

he tells me he is going to impound my car and gives me a ticket for no license,no insurance ( I DID have insurance), and exhaust smoke.

I knew I was targeted because tow truck was only 30 seconds way and before I knew it it was on the bed.

Well that certainly made me stop driving my Z for almost 2 years since the ticket was really expensive.

But not having a license did not stop me from buying a second TT Z LOL.

Now that I have a license, cops don't even bother turning their heads at my Z's ?!?! lmao
