Message	If the engine was put together with clean parts and sufficient assembly lube, the oil pump is going to make pressure quite fast and the whole pre-lubing thing is a non-issue. I have never primed the lubrication system, and have yet to lose an engine. I am also well versed in oil sampling and analysis so I know what to look for. I do not have the link the post but I think Ash also does not pre-lube on his engine builds. He just fires them up.
