Safe to rev it up that high, but if it works and protects race engines than why not a street car? Especially if you have your entire rotating assembly balanced, and solid lifters, etc. I'd also raise the compression a little more from 8.5:1 to maybe 9.5:1 or even 10.5:1 compression. That's why alot of these "built supras" are so hard to keep up with. They rebuild with higher compression. When its time to tear into mine I'm going 10.5:1 compression. Cometic head gaskets are good but not the best. Apexi makes a dope ass metal gasket. Stock arp's aren't too much stronger than our stock headbolts IMO. If your going arp go L19's or H11's. I see you didn't put down an ecu, if your going racing the ProEFI traction control is famous for keeping 1000+ hp cars within a 10th of a second of consistency in the quarter mile, plus it will automatically adjust your tune according to the percentage/amount of ethanol on your system. Best of luck.
