Typical use of this coating are on engine bearings, lifter bores, valve stems, valve seats, rocker arm tips etc etc. This coating is used widely in the racing automotive industry for coating bearings and for softer alloy materials as well. Product requires the end user to burnish down to remove high spots that occur during the coating process.
