Message Ok, here are the cons for the GT
1.) Heavy ass 4000lbs monster
2.) Gimmicky, even down to the exhaust
3.) AWD system suffers 30% parasitic loss
4.) Parts, not readily available (Tranny in particular)
5.) Goes through trannies bad. (see point 4)
6.) 6 Speed is very weak (ie is not a supra or S-2000)
7.) Noted electrical issues
8.) C'mon just look at it. :-)

The Z is by no means perfect, but it has a long pedigree and it shows in most areas. There is repair support and know how that is non-existant in the 3000GT. I would recommend getting a Poopra or a Z, but steer clear of the 3000's. Best of luck
