Message	After I insulated my garage door, I got it sweaty hot during the weeks it was below freezing here last winter, with just one of those 500w contractor lights. So you shouldn't have any problem at all heating your garage. In fact, I've been looking at those exact types of units for mine. I was speaking in a more general sense about heat pumps being terrible for a 1600sq ft house like Shiers69 commented.
