Message	Flip the antenna connectors so the backup goes to the main on the stereo (black coated female input). If you live in a metropolitan area or near one this allows you to usetheanten0na built into the rearwindow as the main. I shaved my antenna around ten years ago and have had no issues getting reception. If my directions are a little off I apologize but its been awhile.
