Message	...I had to replace the starter on our 328i about a year ago. Since the starter 'points' towards the rear of the car you have to remove a tangle of stuff to just get at it. After pulling the intake manifold and all surrounding hardware I barely was able to get a wrench on the starter motor bolts and nearly stripped one. Not fun at all.
