Message	Any differential, no matter how small will cause heat flow. The plenum soaks up radiant and conducted heat and ends up a good bit hotter than the ambient air. It will surface area has nothing to do with whether it will transfer heat. Now how much heat it will transfer is another question. Regardless, if a coating increases the transfer rate then it will increase the heat removed from the plenum.
