Message	If the diffuser came under the car more. Take a look user there and see how the rear bumper curves under and sort of creates an area where it catches air. The diffuser will only add to that unless another flat piece was added to it that would block the catching. But even then it would only have any real effect if a full undertray was made along with a front spoiler.
