| Break-in period does not include highway miles so if your 30 minute work commute is 95% interstate, it doesnt count. Also, its a myth you can't do a "pull" when a clutch is new. The clutch disc is seated when you floor it. The thing you're trying to avoid is slamming the clutch disc into the FW or PP at different rates of speeds before the materials have bedded. (IE - clutch dumps, fast shifts) There is no magical thing that happens when you put 500 miles on the odometer. Its just a guestimate provided by manufacturers. The key thing is to pay attention to how the clutch engages and how it feels. You'll notice over time it will begin to get smoother
