| So I just installed the following SPL Coilovers PowerTrix FUCA's " " RUCA's " " Toe Rods " " Traction Rods " " Adjustable Sway Bar Endlinks " " Front Strut Tower Bar I already had SZ Subframe Spacers Stillen Sway Bars SPL v3 Tension Rods Rear Carbing Strut Tower Bar I want to corner balance the car now but have several questions. I have access to an alignment rack but not scales. I'd like to take advantage of the free use of the alignment rack but I would need to find a shop in town with scales.
Does the corner balancing have to be done on the alignment rack at the time of the alignment? If I align it as is, then corner balance it, then realign it will that effect the corner weighting and by how much? What ride height should I start at before corner balancing and typically how much is it changed? Am I wasting my time getting the wheel gaps perfectly matched all around? How close of tolerance should I try to get them in before the corner balancing? 1/2", 1/4", etc? Should I start at my desired ride height or will that become irrelevant once the balancing process starts? Or if I really want it perfect should I corner balance it first then make adjustments at all four corners to get it as close as possible as my desired ride height? I've read numerous articles on the subject but all were track car oriented and wanted you to start the process with the height as low as possible. This is a street car and I need the ride height to be reasonable. The height you see in my sig is on Eibachs and I would be perfectly happy with that same height if not a tad higher.
