All 3 clutch jobs I've done, I've noticed things done incorrectly. The most recent was on my convertible which claimed to have a new clutch installed, where.. -The fork was no longer connected to the pivot ball (no clip) and riding on the bell housing -Friction disk was replaced only -flywheel was stepped (on a NA) -torch cut exhaust flange bolts with smaller diameter ones used for reassembly (major leak) -Missing exhaust brackets -finger tight bolts -missing transmission bolts -Instead of a new rear main and saddle rtv was caked everywhere -Stripped starter bolt hole in bell housing If the OP takes this on, please follow the TTZD writeup to a T.
