Keep the "guts" hideable and only expose as much as you have to for controls. I like the idea of the TT switch as switching between two presets. Any case/display nice enough that I won't mind looking at is going to cost too much.
Are you thinking about going arduino/similar based or what? Not trying to steal your design, but if you do something like that it opens up a lot for a nice bluetooth interface and a custom app for laptops/phones, while saving you money on buttons/screens and makes the install a snap. The TT stock
