| That engine got super hot. Did you data log your temps at all? What did the oil look like when you drained it? The pitting on the cylinder walls is quite significant and is advisable to bore the block out and new over sized pistons in. The pitting I see on the valves is a direct give away to over heating and detonation. Judging by the images you've provided Im willing to bet your top ring land on the outer edges are severely pitted as well as all the way down to the top ring. Im going to be curious to see how the valves look once removed.
