| So, hopefully, SZ will be arranged to come to town for a Dyno tube session. In the event they do come, I will be getting my Z tuned. My current mods are Test pipes , full cat back, boost jet( not installed until I tune it) and sz stage iii upgraded ecu ( not yet installed). I do Los have a Jwt pop and boost jet.
My question is this:
I am aware that pop intake gives 20 hp, is this a Dyno proven hp gain?
Do I need to install the pop in order to get the rest of the mods hp benefits? Am I correct to say that if I do not install my Jwt pop charger I , I should see approx 380 hp instead of the claimed 400 with pop charger installed? Is it safe to not install it , run the other mods and get it tuned? You may wonder why I may not want to install the pop charger, well is because I have always thought that the High flow filter works by flowing a lot more air but at the expense of not filtering the air and allowing more dirt damaging dirt into the engine. I am hoping that I can safely run the rest of the mods and get it properly tuned by spz to get my most power, safely, without he need of adding the pop
Yes, I will not get an extra 20 hp the pop claims but I can live with tht as I m already netting an extra 80 over stock anyhow
