On RHD, they use the exact same bracket, however there is a threaded stud on BOTH sides. Looks like some engineers got excited and forgot something. Pulling out is where I broke the first one ON that stud. It was les nightmares. So I took a prybar, and pry'd the firewall open a little bit, and in turn, bent that stud so it could be out of the way. It worked great and I was able to get the whole connector decently in before it got stuck once more. I checked from the ECU side, and it seemed to just need to get squeezed through a tad bit because it was just tight between whatever those brackets were (probably dash stuff. never taken out so I'm not sure). So, I went through the engine bay side, and just pressed really hard with my thumbs...and that's the aftermath. Both snapped for different reasons; horrible luck. It was never any ridiculousness of my buff ass guns. Actually, the one coming out was the new(er) one; just one season on it. I was putting the old one (in pretty rough shape) back in as I'm selling that car. I'm done with RHD crap.
