Subject	Trust oem spare and inflator on a long trip?

Message	I'm about to take the z on a long trip with very few pit stops between (Reno to Vegas). Should I place my trust in the 20 year old oem spare and inflator system or should I try to find another wheel and tire to stick in my trunk for the trip? Any suggestions, experiences? Thank you.
