Message	your turbo coolant lines instead. I did the same as you the first time I had my motor out and even though I tightened each clamp like crazy they eventually started leaking. The main issue though is they can be extremely hard or even impossible to tighten depending on location and how you oriented them. New spring clamps are your best bet IMO.
