Message With my Techtom and oil temp gauge I have noticed that my oil temp runs quite a bit cooler than my water temp. For instance, on the highway on a 95 degree day, my oil temps will run right at 70 C., whereas the water temp will be at 84 C. At cooler times, like early in the morning, my oil temps can drop to 55 C. whereas the water temps will only drop to 78 C. Driving home this afternoon it was 107 F. here today. In stop and go traffic my oil temps hit a high of 106 C and water temps went up to 102 C. But, given a steady speed of even 20 to 30 mph, the oil dropped to 90, whereas the water stayed at 102. Yes, I do have the Nismo larger oil cooler.
