Message	No experience in scanning or Autocad as I'm an EE, but I understand your point about moving from scanned data full of irregularities to CAD model based on ideals which can then be modified. Admittedly from a novice perspective, I believe my project is pretty simple, but am hoping to discuss it with someone who's really done this stuff to see how feasible and expensive it is. Fortunately, I do work with a few guys that could help me with the back-end of the design.
