| Over the weekend I was working on my car and attempting to fix the headlights. One side of the Passenger headlight always seems to break in the same area even after i have plastic welded AND epoxied the cracks. Any ways this got me thinking... There are sites now-a-days that allow you to upload 3D images/ filetypes and for a fee (which i think is reasonable enough) will print out your design and mail it to you. This got me thinking again that maybe some parts on the Z such as connectors and brackets can be printed out of newer harder plastic instead of reusing OEM which we all know is fairly weak with age. If anything, i would "Print" a headlight bucket encasing instead of buying a whole new headlight and transferring everything over. What do you guys think? I know that these printers are not super accurate yet, but i have seen some complex examples snooping around on the site. Here is the site i was referring to http://www.shapeways.com/
