Message	The chrome (and even powder coating) process can/will weaken the convalent bonding of aluminium if not prepared properly with this issue in mind. "Copper is usually applied prior to chroming, and aluminum reacts with electrolytic corrosion/weaken covalent bonding." - AutoArt wheels
