They were made by a Japanese company in a Russian forge that originally made train wheels during the 2nd world war (the company is long out of business and only produced a handful in this size, made to order and most have been destroyed which is why I had to piece this set together). They also fit the time frame of the z, without looking too dated. Most people either love them or hate them. But, they are exactly what I wanted and my z looks precisely how I want it to. I am very pleased with the outcome for all my efforts. I'm tired of seeing the same few types of wheels on every damn z and I wanted a fresh look. On top of all that, the quality is beyond the par of the nicest Volk I've ever held. Side-by-side with the Rays v1 makes the Rays feel heavy and cast in comparison. Like the rest of the car, I think you truly have to see them in person to appreciate them.
