Message A rotisserie paint job and the replacement of all necessary rubber and plastic parts can get pretty expensive. It is in fact so expensive that for a Z32, such jobs are not cost effective. With a great looking Z32TT going for, on the outside, near 20K, it quickly becomes clear that if subjected such a surface restoration, no one would be willing to pay the total investmnet incurred.

I have found a clean NA with 21,000 miles. The surface of the car is immaculate. The interior nearly so. While the price of it seems high ($20,000), consider what it would cost to put any Z32 through the work of getting it looking like that.

Here is the question: Shell my TT and spend 20K restoring the paint, another few thousand on the interior and endless hours hunting for parts; or spend 20K on a car that is pretty near perfect and transfer my driveline into it?

PS I suppose some negociation on the NA is possible that would bring down the price a couple thousand and if I had the inclination, I could install the NA driveline in my TT, sell it and recoup a few thousand.
