Message I had several large paragraphs typed out about what actually saves gas and what doesn't but I had to stop myself because I kept going and I have alot of stuff I need to do today.

Reason why CAI will not waste more gas? The throttle plate is a restrictor, you use more throttle when you need more power to let more air in. Cold air is dense, there is more air in the same space. When you apply the throttle you'll notice the acceleration is crisper, what wastes more gas? YOU because you want to go faster, it is not the CAI's fault! You would still achieve the same goal as before if you just opened the throttle less and let less air in. Leave poor CAI alone it was only trying to make you happy.... and this is how you repay it-slandering it's name?? JERK!

With my current mods I average 20mpg (with occasional rompin) I had a best of 22 mpg hwy (I have the NA 4.08).

*disclaimer*: all that I say may be true or I may be completely wrong and I accept that.... please, it is your duty as another person on the internet to impolitely tell me how wrong I am :)
