| FWIW...once parts are here and I machine the block..theres no turning back. I have way too many customers waiting in line for individuals who can't decide on what they want to do. If thats the case I tell them up front Im putting their assembly to the side and moving to the next person if they can not decide an concrete decision. I spend A LOT of time with each customer going over a plethra of options and so forth to ensure they are deciding on exactly what they want for the needs they have. I make it very clear in my estimates that if they want to add/remove or change things they can do so at anytime prior to starting the build. So they have ample time to figure out what it is they want to do and then present it to me for evaulation. Once its approved...its locked in. I then begin. Flip flopping on parts and waiting for manufactures has already bitten me in the ass with one customer already and due to that particular situation I've since restructured my ways on handling scenarios like this. Overall, I think this build will prove promising just so long as directions are followed I list for him and are carried out as I want/need them to be and not deviated from. You can ask many of my customers who I've built engines for and they will all tell you I spend a considerable amount of time discussing things with them and even when the engines done and running I do follow ups every few weeks/months to check in to see how things are going.
