| My engine is being rebuilt currently. While they are doing that, I had the turbos inspected at a different shop / specialist. I may have heard incorrectly, but they told me that one has a cracked turbine housing and the other a cracked bearing or journal. I will inquire further when I go pick them up. I didn't get a quote for the repairs because his rough, off the cuff, estimate was between $700 and $900 each to repair. At anywhere approaching this price I think it would be foolish not to upgrade. I am debating between Sport 530's and 550's, both of which will require the 5 bolt down pipes. I believe I will get the SZ 2.5 inch pipes rather than the 3" because I don't intend to upgrade test pipes and exhaust at this time. The price of this project is starting to get away from me, I would like to know opinions on upgrading these parts but sticking to stock injectors that ohm out fine. I'm still running a 16 bit ECU so I'll have to get an off the shelf JWT tune. I was thinking I could do the engine parts before reinstalling the engine, and then maybe buy the new injectors this winter or something, as they would be relatively easy to install later.
