Either its a statistical curiosity or there is something behind it such as over oiling or something specific to your car. There are no other reports of increased sensor failures associated with the use of the translator besides a simple doubling from running two. The SAFC should be identical in this respect.
Were all the failed sensors on the same side? How does your wiring look? Maybe there's a loose pin on a female connector? How were the failed sensors diagnosed? I'm happy to help you figure things out if there is something behind it.
