I personally have had one MAF go bad so far. The original MAF installed on the car is still good and got a Selin and went to a Dual MAF. Second MAF worked for about 5 months and then it went bad. Confirmed this thru voltage check and converted back to a single MAF. When my original MAF is installed, car runs fine. When the second MAF that I purchased is installed in a single MAF configuration, car won't hold idle and stalls and runs terribly. Just ordered another MAF from Specialty Z and when it comes in, I will install the Dual MAF again and see if the problem reoccurs. If the problem occurs again, I will have to contact Jim Selin and send the translator back. Not saying it is the Selin, but for 10 years, the original MAF worked fine. Could have been the used MAF that I purchased but will let you know.
