A month or two ago a teenager brought me an NA Z32 which I was told before hand (and basing my quote off of) that it just needed the timing belt installed. Needless to say when I got the car the only thing that had been done to it was the heads bolted on. No valve covers, the cams were rusty, EVERYTHING had to be inspected/reworked. All the bolts (the ones that were there anyways) were given to me in a folgers can. After getting it running I diagnosed 3 dead injectors. Those situations suck because the kid was strapped for cash, lived 3 hours away, and the car was DOA in my garage taking up space while I waited on high to cough up the cash.
