Message FSM has factory deck heights of both block and heads. Measure your block and heads and compare to deck height of whats posted in the FSM.

Standard thickness is a 1.2mm but if he's pulled more than suggested then you may need to go up to a 1.5 or more. Since you can't obtain an OE gasket in varied thicknesses you'll have to run an MLS gasket. I suggest that between the MLS gaskets that are out there you invest in the right ones which are made by Tomei. They are a bit pricey but are significantly better than Cometic. I will ONLY run Tomei MLS gaskets if customers want to run a metal HG. Outside of that the only other gasket I'll run is OEM.

Be sure though that the decks on both the block and the heads are CBN cut/milled This produces a very fine finish that is required for an MLS gasket. DO NOT copper coat the MLS gasket as it will interfere with the nitrile rubber coating that is coated on the gasket to create a seal to both mating surfaces.

Good luck
