I'd describe the TT pump as more of a spur gear type pump, and the NA pump as a gerotor.

As taken from Wiki: "Rotary pumps are very efficient because they naturally remove air from the lines, eliminating the need to bleed the air from the lines manually".

Sorry, but this is complete BS. Where do you suppose the air goes? Wiki isn't always correct.
