Message As long as assembly lube was used on the bearings and the cylinder walls were coated with engine oil than no need for the priming of the oil pump. The assembly lube doesn't dissolve until the oil temp has hit a certain temperature anyway so you have luberication until oil pressure is up. Just make sure the pressure does build up.
