| I can see where running too lite of a oil on a motor pushing out 550+hp amd generating some serious heat for thinner oils to break down and cause excessive wear over time, say less than 30k miles as the OP said or not enough zddp in the oil of choice for additional wear protection.. what other factors are you eluding to then Ash? Ipp uses acl, sz uses clevite, you and z1 use oem last I checked.. So shed some light buddy boy :)
