You may have a much higher value in mind for your Z, but you were paying premiums on the lowball KBB or NADA value, so that is what you are getting insured on. It is on Z owners to find proper insurance on their Z if they want to be covered for what they have "invested" in the car. Just using Geico or whatever standard road car insurance is not going to hack it.
