Message So I needed an off the shelf ECU for my 91TT. After looking around I decided to go with ashspec, and I placed my order on April 3rd.

About a week later I sent an email to ask for an update. No response. On April 15th I still hadn't received my chip so I gave them a call. I spoke to Ash, who said they had to wait on a chip to come in to them since I used the core charge option, this I completely understood. He said they had just received a chip that past Friday (the 12th) however, and he would get my chip to me by Thursday. (the 18th)

On Monday the 22nd I still had not gotten my chip. I called again. I spoke to Ash again. He said the chip they received had water damage. I was put off that I didn't even get a call to update me on the situation. In any case he had yet another chip that he promised to send me via one day shipping and promised me it would be here today, Wednesday the 24th. And here I sit without the product, and with $501.xx less in my wallet.

This saddens me. Especially when the build sheet I got from Specialty Z for a future build includes many ASH products, which I didn't have a problem with until now. If I ever receive the ECU, it will be the first and last ASHSPEC product to touch my Z.
