| I run 275/40/17 R-comps at all 4 corners with no rubbing issues. I doubt 0.25mm makes that much of a difference. The only thing I can think of is that the OD of the tire might be more than an R-comp because of more tread depth on a street tire... That said, I run 245/40/18 street tire up front with no issues, which has a larger overall diameter than the 245/45/17. Something suspension related sounds screwed up for it not to fit.
