Message set idle w/ Datascan. If you hit the start button, does your idle drop and car die? Or does it bog down below your idle setpoint? What you should do is hit the start button for the base idle adjust which is the same as unplugging the AAC connector, adjust your idle to where you like it... I've found with my setup (see profile for mods) that around 900 is great. After you're done, hit stop, and "clear active memory" or whatever button that is below the base idle adjust, and you should now see your base idle drop to the RPM you set.

Swapping out my bad 02's, along with my BOV's for BDE/recircs, and properly adjusting my idle, I no longer have this problem. I'm sure if I gunned it, then slammed on my brakes, it MAY stall, but I can say that if I'm cruising along 60 and slam on my brakes, it won't stall and drop perfectly to idle.

Ohm your IACV assembly per FSM:
