| decides to self-destruct. I had a rear tire let go on a beater where the tread partially separated from the rest of the tire. It tore and began flapping/beating the fender from the inside and along the area outside of the fender lip. I was going about 55mph at the time. The noise was hellacious. I would imagine the damage this could do to a Z would eclipse the amount paid for two new tires.
