| checked for proper timing mark. Last spring when I put my motor back in I re-used my oem crank pulley because the UR lightweight pulleys were on back order. Set timing with it like normal. A few weeks later I received my UR pulley and installed it without checking timing since I didn't touch the CAS or actual timing components. Yesterday, about a year later I needed to check timing while troubleshooting an issue and couldn't find a timing mark at all with my light...tried the coil pack wire, ptu loop and even a high tension extension wire. Turns out the UR pulley's timing mark was about 60 degrees off. If you held the stock pulley and UR pulley back to back the timing marks lined up perfectly...I think that was their mistake when making them. See the two black pen marks:
