| Just wanted to hear opinions on which you all have used and prefer. Does the 1mm OS ferrea's top end gain worth the extra 0.5mm in size vs the Supertech (I know the larger valves will shift the dyno graph to the right somewhat).. but is the top end gain worth the loss of low end? I have GT28RS .64 a/r turbos, 3" turbo back exhaust, 2.5" IC piping. etc. I know many preffered the supertech valves (only offered in 0.5mm OS because the exhaust valves are offered in Inconel).. But now.. I am hearing that Ferrea offer the 1mm OS exhaust option in Inconel as well. I am using JWT springs, stock retainers and JWT500 cams. BDE 95+ adjustable VTC intake cam gears and BDE Bullseye adjustable exhaust cam gears. I dont plan on reving past 7800rpm as the GT28RS turbos are a fairly small frame turbo.
Let me hear your thoughts!
Is this all worth the extra coin? Read through lots of posts in search.. some say its worth it.. some not.. I know on other vehicles.. 1mm oversize is worth the "loss" (ie. shift dyno graph right) of low end power for its top end gain potential. Thanks!
