I don't know for sure since I can't comment from experience, but a lot of high performance cars use big calipers like that in the rear, and I'm assuming they don't all lock up and suck when it comes to stopping (Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, etc)?

I guess what I'm getting at is: it's probably far more involved then just avoiding 4-piston rear calipers. At worst, you may have to consider a brake biasing valve...
