Browser has 0% to do with any of this. It is all Networks based. Every packet can be deciphered to which host, port/protocol, and data that is being transferred. One log review will reveal any mysteries, and it can all be easily dropped. Also, don't think your employer doesn't know you're using your wifi hotspot. You may still be able to get to the data you seek, but your footprints are left behind through your AD or LDAP profiles. One review, and a shit ton of youtube cookies and historic links and you're done. Whether your corporate company cares though is a different story. I really wanted to go more in depth (it's my career), but I'm going to stop now. This is a very high level explanation, and there really is so much to look at in this field. There are ways to really get around this, but I won't tell ;) Just be aware, no matter what you think or how smart you are, Big Brother is watching you.
