Message	thick shelving sheets. Not the prettiest bench in the world but works well for me. I notched out the 4x4's everywhere a 2x4 was to be attached. I think it looks better that way and increases the total stability. Very solid. It's about 40" tall, 27" deep and 8' long. Very cluttered right now with all of the projects I got going on. Here you can see how the tops of the 4x4's are part of the support for the top panel. Towards the back I mounted a cheap 6' power strip from harbor freight. 12 outlets but only good for 15 amps. I don't use it for larger air compressor or welder.
